AI Tech Pack for Accessories and Bags: Hardware, Materials, and Construction

Generate AI tech packs for bags and accessories — leather specs, hardware callouts, compartment details, and construction methods for non-garment products.

Accessory tech packs are different from garments

Accessories and bags use different specifications than garments. Instead of body measurements and grading, you specify product dimensions, compartment sizes, and hardware details. Instead of fabric weight, you specify leather thickness, strap widths, and reinforcement areas.

Skema3D's AI tech pack generator adapts to accessory specifications when you prompt for bags, wallets, belts, or other non-garment products. The AI shifts from garment construction rules to accessory construction conventions.

Bag construction specifications

Bag tech packs require dimensional and construction specifications that differ from garment specs.

Material specifications for bags

Bag materials require specific callouts that differ from garment fabric specifications.

  • Leather: type (full-grain, top-grain, split), thickness in mm or oz, tannage (chrome, vegetable), finish (matte, glossy, nubuck)
  • Synthetic leather: PU or PVC, thickness, backing fabric, texture (smooth, pebbled, saffiano)
  • Canvas: cotton or poly, weight in oz, coating (waxed, PU-coated, uncoated)
  • Lining: polyester twill, cotton canvas, or microsuede — weight and color
  • Interfacing: specify reinforcement areas — base, body panels, strap attachment points

Hardware specifications

Bags use more hardware variety than most garments. Your AI tech pack should specify: zippers (type, gauge, length, tape color, slider style), buckles (size, style, material), D-rings and O-rings (size, wire gauge, finish), snap hooks (size, gate style), rivets (size, cap style), magnetic snaps (size, strength), and feet (size, style, attachment method).

Include finish specifications for all hardware: gold, silver, nickel, antique brass, matte black, or custom. Consistent hardware finish across a bag is expected — mixing finishes is a design choice that must be explicitly specified.

Generating your accessory AI tech pack

Describe your bag or accessory with overall dimensions, compartment layout, material preference, and hardware finish. For example: 'crossbody bag, 10x8x3 inches, pebbled leather, zip top closure, front flap pocket with magnetic snap, adjustable strap, antique brass hardware.'
